The Applause of Heaven. The title of the book will make you wonder at first sight. And will make you wonder more after reading the description of its content at the back. It's about The Beatitudes of Jesus in Matthew 5.
It's a WOW for the irony of life. It made me realize the sense of life--the sense of it being unfair sometimes. I realized LIFE IS BEAUTIFULLY UNFAIR, of course in an ironic perspective.
And there's more. There's more in how Max Lucado's picture-building words added wisdom to my little understanding of The Beatitudes.
This is a great read! I highly recommend it. Reading to a great life! A life to receive the applause of Heaven!

This is a very good teaching on The Sermon on the Mount--basically the Beatitudes that Jesus taught. It is written in a welcoming style and one can identify with it immediately.

It is interesting to hear the words of God written in such a simple and understandable way. Even if you do not agree with everything Lucado preaches, it is fascinating to read his real life metaphors.
