The first 1/3 of the book was slow. I can see people DNF I that part. But after it, it picks up and I couldn't put it down!

I just couldn’t get into it. I kept wanting to like it and didn’t.

"Mortals. I envy you. You think you can change things. Stop the universe. Undo what was done long before you came along. You are such beautiful creatures."

I must say for my first book of 2013 I was not disappointed. This book on many levels was refreshing. First, being written in Ethan’s perspective was different. There aren’t many love stories written this way and I felt invigorated. Now it wasn’t just that Ethan is a great guy someone any teen would die to meet and fall in love with, all the characters were well written. The story flowed nicely. The events between the past and the present kept me wanting to read more. And of course once you get started you need to know how it ends.

Nice book. Of course it's teeny romance with all its up an downs, but afterall a nice read. Nothing too new or too special, and I wasn't really convinced of all the characters but it's good enough for me to want to read the next books of this series.

The movie to this book however is not as good as the book, and I made the mistake to watch it in the middle of reading it and it spoiled it for me a lot.

I really enjoyed this story. The book is far more better than the movie!

I saw the movie trailer and had to read this. I really enjoyed it. It will be butchered when it goes to the big screen but already interested to see what Hollywood does with all this material. I'm glad I read this. I found the young love refreshing compared to some relationships in books lately (I'm looking at you Christian and Ana).

Can't wait For the movie and looking forward to the next book.
