This book was amazing <3. This is the third Colleen Hoover book I've read, and I've loved all of them. The story really intruiged me, it deals with some heavy topics, but somehow it's still a pretty light read. Definitely recommend this book!

DNF - a suicidal intro followed by a romance with a guy who likes to beat up furniture.

4.5 ⭐️? 5 ⭐️? Not my typical read but I enjoyed it. I felt invested in the characters and shed a tear or two.

“People spend so much time wondering why the women don’t leave. Where are all the people who wonder why the men are even abusive?”

Wow. Powerful story. I read this in a day. I couldn’t put it down!!

I could go on and on about the toxicity of this book, but, wasn’t that the point of it? I had a whole review completely shit talking Ryle, but, I had to take a step back and analyze the story as a whole. This book is beautiful in so many ways, but also, sad and gut-wrenching. I honestly didn’t expect it to end how it did, and I’m so satisfied with the ending.
