4/5 stars. The overall plot was good. I didn’t like a few aspects of it (the letters to Ellen) - I felt they lacked relevance and took away from the overall storyline. Look up trigger warnings ahead of time
This book didn’t contain any big surprises, I knew where it was going and I still loved it.

My heart is clenching, my fingers are trembling once I finished this book. I know Colleen Hoover with her ability to twist your heart and mind ONLY within pages. THIS BOOK IS PHENOMENAL
I'm sad, but also I'm angry. I'm both. I'm a mess. It torns me apart. But, [b:It Ends with Us|27362503|It Ends with Us|Colleen Hoover|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1470427482l/27362503._SY75_.jpg|43940889] hits me differently. It hits me right to the core, and I feel a very personal bond to this book. I'm sure I'm gonna tell everyone that this book is the best book that you've ever read in your entire life.

It peels back the layers of characters and relationships to do something and to make you understand a situation that for most people makes no sense. It's very sad, painful and exceptionally honest.
Lily Bloom: The bravest and the stongest female character I've ever read. I love how she stood up for his mother, for herself and for her daughter.
"It stops here. With me and you. It ends with us."hits me so fucking hard.
Ryle Kincaid: The character you love so much, your ideal type of man. But there's something wrong with him and his past that make him an abusive person.
I wish he never met Lily, I wish Ryle is never married. He's so perfect to be true. I feel bad that I almost wish Lily would forgive him and come back to him. But it isn't true. It can't be.
Atlas Corrigan: Sometimes I wish Lily would never met Atlas, I wish Atlas wouldn't show up again in Lily's life. So many "ifs". But Atlas is the right choice. Atlas is the man!
Allysa Kincaid: I love this character so much. The best best friend you could ask for. I love her relationship with Lily, the girl power I need right now.
The only thing that bothers me also it’s kinda unique is Lily’s journals to Ellen DeGeneres and her talking about Atlas. Like..... how come?

I'd give another zillions stars for this book, for its bravery to revealed the most common (yet, taboo) for our society, domestic abuse. Yes, there are women/men experienced that kind of situations, but not many want to speak up. I wish this book would help them, whenever they are, however they are to speak up and stand up for herself/himself.
