Definitely better than the 1st book. I really like the company of Roth in the story. More in depth character building and narration. And what a cliffhanger!

I listened once again to the audiobook, this was a really enjoyable book.
I really like Trinity, she's witty and the banter with Zayne is great. The storyline is extremely interesting, a new-old take on angels and demons, all the characters are well fleshed out and mostly quite enjoyable, even the villains.
The references to supernatural are always funny and the relationship between characters are really nice to see, i really recommend it to anyone who likes the genre of urban/supernatural fantasy

Some books leave you on a cliffhanger, this one actuALLY THROWS YOU RIGHT OFF THE DAMN CLIFF WITH ZERO CONSIDERATION FOR YOUR FEELINGS.
The dialog in this book between the love interests makes my skin crawl.
Also, Roth is the star here. Everyone and everything else is just meh.

Meh. Story overall was interesting but I HATED the ending. The choice Reinity made didn’t line up at ALL with her character arc and although I understand grief makes one do some weird things, I still hate it. Won’t continue because it got just a bit too paranormal for me.
