They’re just sooooooo much. I like Abby Jimenez and really only read this one because someone recommended starting all of her books from the beginning. But my gosh did I find these characters unlikable. Kristen is fine I guess, if pretty whiny and soooooo self sabotaging/making herself a martyr. But Josh I thought was so irritating and bordered on plain aggressive. Idk maybe he’s just not the right leading guy for my style. But then this book had such a dramatic third act that it was just too much for my little brain to handle. I see it’s appeal, but I think it’s just not my favorite.
