This. Is. AMAZING. I cannot stress enough how much I love this book. If you’re reading this because you’re not sure whether to read the grishaverse (although that would be odd considering this is the 3rd book), please do. Do it for this book. Leigh, thank you for this masterpiece.

This book broke my heart into so many pieces, I loved the series with all my heart and gave me strong characters I will always be able to relate to and made me believe that one person can change the world, but they cannot do it alone.
I don’t understand the hate that this series, I hold it very dear in my heart, and genuinely didn’t want it to end

I loved all the characters so much, especially Harshaw and Nikolai. Probably wouldn't reread the series, but it was still enjoyable to get through.

I loved the ending.  It just seemed so right and well written.  However, I was expecting more characters to die, so it’s not a completely realistic ending.

A lovely ending to a lovely series. This is a series that I think improves with each installment, with the first being a little underwhelming (it's mostly the whole school part that bores me), while book 2 and 3 work so well. I liked the emphasis on the idea that you are not meant to carry your burdens alone, that the community you build is there to create a kinder, better world and life with you. Lovely all around. And I also liked how many of the pervious characters (Zoya) really grew on me in this book.

I don't know why the ending to this is considered controversial or why so many people are in an uproar about it. It was such a lovely, soft ending that the characters deserved.
