Words and images that are as fierce and powerful as Artemis (and the various cultural incarnations of such goddess).

Healing my girlhood to help the woman in me has been hard... But interdisciplinary poetry like this makes it a bit easier and more possible. Also very much inspired to return to my art and words.

“what if i don’t want to talk about grief even though i’m always choking on it?…what if i never get closure? what if i never move on?”

“i never really shook the nerves / just the urgency”

“i have a brutal history with men. i won’t shy away from that. every woman eventually has a brutal history with men.”

Trista. never. misses.
This is a beautiful collection of poetry. I recommend it to the angry and hurt and to anyone who has an obsession with women in Greek Mythology. It's just, amazing. I love Trista's work, she remains an auto-purchase and a comfort read.
