Fabulous, from beginning to end. Such amazing truths and anchors in this book for women desiring to live a godly life. I love all of Elizabeth George, and this book was no different than the others I have read as far as truth and encouragement are considered! I am always challenged to live a life pleasing and honoring to God when reading her books, and she encourages readers in practical ways! And always with Scripture to back up her statements. Phenomenal :)

I thought this book had a lot of good, general principles for walking out a Christian lifestyle. I like Elizabeth George as a Christian author, but I think nothing can top A Woman After God's Own Heart. However, I like to keep up with her writing because I feel like she is the perfect author for busy wives and moms (which I happen to be). Her chapters are not too long, which means you can read one in the odd five or ten minutes of free time you might happen upon in your day and she doesn't go too in depth on any of her points, relating her advice and wisdom in such a way that you don't have to wade through a lot of complicated wording and theology. This book was good, but if you're looking to start with Elizabeth George, definitely go for A Woman After God's Own Heart.
