The Kind Worth Killing has been mentioned alongside The Girl on the Train and Gone Girl in numerous different reviews, and while it does have that same sort of feel to it, I enjoyed this book much more than the other two. It wasn't perfect, but there were plenty of intriguing dark characters, twisted twists, and a surprisingly satisfying ending.

Hell yeah!

I love a thriller like this. Fast paced and keeps you rapidly turning pages.

I will admit I was floored when SPOIL MF ALERT one of the main characters is taken out quite early. My heart ached. The hopeless romantic in me was screaming in agony. Coming from someone who could not continue Dexter after they killed of Rita (seriously why the hell did they do that?) I thought I could not possibly continue on. There was no way the book could possibly be good, the plot and plan was entirely ruined.

But wait! There’s so much more! And man, I am such a sucker for a badass main character lady. I know, I know, she’s not a “good guy” but I could not help feeling for her. Gripping the edge of my seat, praying she’d be successful and make it alive.

Really really good.
