Définitivement, cette série s'assombrit plus elle avance. Par contre, je commence à avoir hâte que ça avance, je trouve que ça tourne un peu en rond. Un moment donné, ça suffit d'avoir le même antagoniste dans les 6 tomes.

I've enjoyed listening to this one. It was very adventurous, lots of things happened and it not once was boring. Also, no one was spared and I'm very curious to know how this will all end.

One of the few series this set of authors have written where every book I've read is a banger. The tension, the drama. Looking forward to the sixth installment when it's available in paperback format.

The Bravelands is such an excellent story with amazing characters and a great variety in the animals portrayed within the series. I loved getting to know more about the crocodiles, one of the animals that don’t follow the Great Spirit. I’m now fascinated with them and their relationships with the rest of animals of the Bravelands. This book does get pretty gruesome with the amount of death and the descriptions of said deaths within it, but the series is targeted at older middle grade readers, so I don’t feel that it’s an issue. Overall, I thought this was an excellent read and a great buildup to the final battle.

I am pleased with this series in light of how disappointed I was in the 2nd arc of Seekers. I think the Erins are getting their spark back. I hope this series gets a second arc and does not lose its fire.

In this book, we are reaching the conclusion of finding out what has been plaguing Bravelands. The book ends on a serious cliffhanger, and I can't wait for the last book to come out.

Interestingly, I would recommend this series to any older fans of the Lion Guard. I would say Bravelands is too descriptive in its deaths and killing for any super young kids, but any middle grade-aged kid or older would love this series if they loved the Lion Guard. I find myself always comparing the two, not because of the plot (Lion Guard is way more lighthearted), but because of the setting.
