Another enjoyable coffeehouse mystery. This one was a bit interesting as the deaths did not happen until much later and the investigation was around an assault which eventually lead to two murders. Madame made me laugh out loud a few times in this book, she is by far the most charismatic and lovable character.

I love this series, mainly for Matt’s mom. This one did have some dated and problematic lines/plot points though.
