Why does this woman talk like a literal toddler, im so scared of the fact she called it a ‘no no zone’ 😭

I'm convinced I'm going to love every book this woman writes!

This book was definitely not for me. I didn't enjoy the mostly boring email/text exchanges which compromise 50% of this book and wasn't invested in the characters at all. They felt like they had almost zero chemistry and none of the attraction they supposedly felt for each other was able to come through in their correspondence or when they finally meet in person. Ruby and Aaron are...boring.

I think 15 yr old me would have loved this book. I think other 15 yr olds will love this book. But the me right now says, nope.

Having said that, it looks like it's getting good reviews so I'm okay with acknowledging that me and this book are not meant for each other but it might very well be someone else's cuppa tea.

I'll just do a little mini-review since I don't have many thoughts on this. Maybe my hopes were too high because Mariana Zapata is such a praised romance writer? Don't get me wrong I had a good time, but something felt missing. I really enjoyed the first half when they were emailing but I found myself getting bored after they actually met up in person. I think the fact that Ruby just decided to meet this guy in another state without even knowing what each other looked like took me out of the story. And also how she was always crying or tearing up. I'm sorry but it's just a personal pet peeve of mine in romances when the heroine is super whiny. Anyway I still have high hopes for some other books by this author that I do plan on reading sometime soon.

A to mě bavilo neskutečně.
