def think parker is my fave out of the 4!! an amazing conclusion to a wonderful series

reread 1: parker brown and malcolm for the win. brb moving 2 connecticut!

12/24: i love them

I loved the whole Bride Quartet Series - but the others more than this book.
The rating is a bit off, it was more like 3.5 stars.

I loved Parker, but the whole storyline? Not really. Sometimes the book seemed to go on and on, sometimes (especially the ending) it felt rushed.
I liked that the book included Mac's wedding (and other loose ties) but on the other hand, Parkers story was cut short.

The scene I loved most about this book was when the girls presented Parker with her "perfect wedding dress". It made me cry!

What is the point of this book? Like honestly, there wasn't even a real conflict or appealing story line and the ending was SO predictable. I mean, if you couldn't figure it out from the title then idk what's going on in your brain. I do not recommend this series at all. Each book gets continuously worse.

This was my favorite one so far! I loved seeing all the stories come together!

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I love the series. I love the friendships and relationships and the drama. I had such high hopes for a kick-ass Parker story, but I'm not sure I got what I was expecting.

There's no doubt about the fact that Malcolm is absolutely perfect for Parker . . . but the build up to the HEA kind of left me wanting. With the other three friends, it takes A LOT of work to get to the satisfaction of their HEA's. Parker and Mal just sort of end up with their HEA without much of a fuss. Sure, there's a few stumbling blocks, but not the POW I was expecting I guess.

I'm really sad to see this series end. The wrap up really left me wanting to know what happens to them after the honeymoons.

I think this was the best one of the series

Of all the series I've read of NR, I think the Bride Quartet is the weakest. Not enough conflict and tension for me. Hard to feel connected to protags living with such privilege.

This book was a fun, light read, just like the others in this series, but I didn't enjoy it as much for a few reasons. First and foremost, Mal (the love interest) seems rather sexist at times to me. I couldn't stand how he kept calling her "legs." Apparently it didn't bother her, but I was not a fan. Also, I couldn't quite connect with her character as well as some of the others. However, once again, it is a very quick and very light read, which I needed after reading a couple murder mysteries in a row. :)

Iโ€™ve loved Mal since the first page he appeared on. The way he carries himself after trauma, the relationship he has with his mom, and the way he really sees Parkerโ€ฆ it all adds up to one incredible guy. And the surprise gift he gives her? YES.

Grief is one of the undercurrents of this book. In the previous books, itโ€™s easy to forget that Parker and Del are still dealing with the loss of their parents.

And especially on wedding days, when rituals with parents are the norm, that loss is highlighted in a continual heartbreaking way.

One of the reasons I love this series is that it highlights both their career goals and their personal goals. All of these people are incredibly successful in their careers, but it showcases that the community we build is equally important for a happy life.

Whether itโ€™s a spouse or lifeline friends or whoever you choose, love is important.

Yes, some parts of these stories are utterly unrealistic. The seven-day work weeks, the quick engagements, the four for four in a yearโ€ฆ but I love the heart of these books so much that I just donโ€™t care.

Overall, if you love romance books, especially those that center themselves around friendship, I full heartedly recommend this series.

I reread the Bridal Quartet series practically every single year, so this is probably my 7th or 8th round (if not more, tbh) with Mac, Emma, Laurel, and Parker. Contemporary romance, sweet and fun, heartfelt friendships - itโ€™s the perfect beach book. It makes me laugh out loud and tear up and feel heart-cozy.
