Oh. My. Gosh. I am shook....... this book hit me so hard, Josie is pregnant. My heart warmed when Seth found out, he was so happy about it. I may have gotten a little emotional during that chapter. I’m so sad that this series is almost over. I just love all these characters so much and will miss reading about them. Overall this book was great!

(Reread Review)
This review may contain some vague spoilers, not detailed plots, but still spoilers.

The Struggle picks up where The Power left of. You know? When Seth goes nuts, becomes the God Killer, kills Atlas and then escapes? Yeah things are a mess, Josie is determined to go after Seth, she believes in him and knows he would never hurt her, she convinces the gang to go with her, but things are never that easy. First of all, killing Atlas has consequences and we learn why the Titans need to be entomb and not killed. Then some major bad things happen…..and Josie sees herself in a not really bad situation.
In the meanwhile, Seth leaves thinking after the show down with Atlas the Titans will lay low, he leaves thinking that Josie will be safe and that he is a threat for everyone specially Josie, because he cant control the need inside him, the need for eather. So Seth goes to his childhood home to get away, to protect everyone from him, like Josie believed he would. And when he gets there, and after a period of time of Seth being…well Seth he starts to learn a few very important things… some major bombs are drop that explain so damn much!!!
There is a prophecy involved, you know, the one from Covenant? Except there is a lot grandma Piperi didn’t say, this new prophecy and Alex’s one are connected, in a way they are the same, and all of this to get to a certain point so something could happen. The foreshadowing strikes again! When I first read Covenant and Titan and didn’t pick up details that now I’m like Jen basically told us everything and we didn’t see it! Because there is foreshadowing that comes from way back to Covenant series! And I don’t know if Jen did it on purpose on Covenant or if she adapted Titan prophecy and plot around the Covenant prophecy that already existed but wow it word perfectly! And I gotta say I knew my man was special eheh.
Of course Seth is not happy about some of the things he learns….but he starts to realize what he has become and what that means exactly and in the middle of that his need for Josie is still there and so is his love for her. He starts to be able to separate his need for Josie from his need for her eather now that he knows why he always craved it. He is still afraid of himself around her, but his need to check on her wins and that’s how he learns the big bad news.
Josie on the other hand is in hell, things are not easy for her and its horrible what happens and what could have happened. But we know Seth would never give up on his girl!
Once she is back it’s a mess, Josie has been through hell and back and things just seem to be adding up! She has Alex to help her, which is amazing, because they become good friends and I love that! Aiden and Alex keep appearing a lot and its amazing to be able to see out beloved Covenant characters so much! Luke and Deacon appear too and continue to be the amazing characters they are! Marcus is there too, so is Colin and now we have some new characters… On the other hand, Solos absence still, hurts! Oh! And there is surprise character at some point of the book, that arrives with a very important job. And its so nice to see that character!
After a while, after Josie gets better, after she and Seth resolve some issues and everyone is up to speed on what is happening and what Seth is now we go back to the University and things just keep coming, because they can never catch a break!
Also, Josie finds out something! And there are some incredible sweet moments and I was completing melting at one point.
Apollo on the other hand keeps wining the bad father award of the year and Josie has now, more then ever, reasons to be mad at him, and gosh I know why he is acting the way he is and its not fair and I don’t agree with that logic! Apart of me wants to be mad at him and the other can’t!
Almost at the end something happens that will have consequences…really bad consequences and Seth starts to realize that like spider man with this new power comes great responsibility. I love the way he grows up in this book, he is still Seth the bad boy jerk but he is more responsible now. Seth did a lot of awful things in his life but he is becoming better man and a good part of it its because of Josie because she always believes in him, because she is the first person to fully love Seth and accepts how he is and what he has done without judging him, and none of that makes her love him less. Josie is a fighter in her own way, and she is incredible. Even when she completely spaces out or talks about the most random things. She is also pretty smart she helps with and finds out a lot of stuff.
The ending, for a change its not an OMG moment, mainly because you probably already figure that out with the clues we get along the book, but it’s still a very monumental and important moment.
Basically, this book has a lot going on, you can’t catch a break without something major going down and its amazing! Things are building towards the end and they have so much to lose in a fight that is not going to be easy!

OK, I love the covenant series, I LOVE ALEX AND AIDEN! But I don't give a shut about Seth and Josie.

I don't buy this romance, Seth was very annoying in this one, and so Josie. I don't care about any of them. But I enjoyed ever single part that Alex and Aiden were. And deacon with Luke. I don't remember quite well the story but I really want to reread the covenant series.

I'm reading this series because I want to know more about Alex and Aiden. OH so now Josie is pregnant well damn I want to Alex have a baby!!!

I going to finish this series because I want to know the end but I actually skip many pages here because I was to bored.
