Fruits Basket Another follows Sawa Mitoma who accidentally crosses paths with the Sohma clan and becomes entangled in their lives in a way she didn't expect.
It has been a few years since I read volume two of this manga but I still remember what happened. And I still loved this manga so much. This volume had me tearing up because I loved it so much and was so sad to see it coming to an end.
First off, I love seeing the younger Sohma clan now. They are so different than their parents were and I loved seeing them together. You can definitely tell who is who's kid because they are so much like their parents. I really loved how they take Sawa in as their friend and cares about her. They clearly really cared for each other and for Sawa. I loved learning more about Sawa's backstory even though it is incredibly sad. I loved seeing how it connected to the Sohma's and how, even though it caused problems for them, they never blamed Sawa.
As always, I adored the art in this magna. I love how the characters are drawn and the backgrounds are done so well. I always feel like I am transported into the manga when I am reading this. I was so sad to see this end but I loved that it was pretty open to doing some one shots like what volume four is.
Overall, I adored this manga and I'm so sad that it's over. I am excited to read the one shots in volume four next. If you liked the original Fruits Basket I would recommend picking this up. It's cute and it is shorter than the original series but just as impactful.
