I love these books! Great characters, and all the nostalgic feelings of being a preteen ♥️

And the LOVE for the Penderwick Family continues. I just adore how Ms. Birdsall writes about a family's situations and solving them and keeping the love for each other while recognizing each family member as an individual. We need more literature like this for our children in this crazy world of ours.

My children give it 5 stars, I however didn't enjoy it as much as the first book. It was still an enjoyable story with many delightful adventures.
