I’ve been giving a lot of Crystal’s books 5 stars, but this one was just not a 5 star book. It was more like a 3.5. Kay had a lot of stuff going on up in her head. Brendon was trying to fill the parent for both Emma and Kay. Emma and Kay are best friends. They come from different worlds. One with money to spare and the other with just enough money. Kay is a virgin with her sights set on Brendon. But she refuses to act on her feelings since he’s Emma’s brother.

This was back and forth. I can’t do anything because he’s watching over me. He’s my best friends brother. He’s older than me. He’s more experienced than me. I’m a virgin and he’s not. He might run if he finds out how broken I am. OH MY GOD!!! They finally got together and it’s like that voice inside her head was finally silenced. Hopefully the other books in this series are better

3.5 --- Standard Awkward shy girl in love her best friends older brother. I like the characters, sexy was steamy... Overall your typical alpha male smut but sometimes it is nice to not have to think about what you are reading!

I loved the connection between the characters and I loved all the joining characters around them and hoping Crystal gives us their stories and makes it an overall series like she done with others!

The love scenes are hot as always and I thought he ate difference would bother me but it doesn't. Love happens when it does and even though it not always easy, if it meant to be it will be.

Loved it

This book was so deep. So sweet. So sexy. I've never had depression, but the care that this author put into writing about the h and her struggles was so amazing. Brendon was the perfect "best friends older brother" character I've ever seen written. So sexy, needy, yet endearing and understanding. Kaylee so so sweet. Her innocence was work so perfectly. She wasn't quite naive, but she was very innocent. Brendon was the perfect guy to bring her out and show her the ropes, so to speak.

Age gap made me feel soo icky. He’s 26, she’s just turned 18 and he’s supposed to her guardian/caregiver?? So disappointing they could’ve done the best friends brother tripe without the weird age gap/caregiver thing.

I ate this story up. So much angst and brooding. All the brooding.
