A short story that succeeds brilliantly at its job as a bridge between two series.
The MC's, Mark and Jack, met in The Psychics Tale, part of a trilogy with other others. Mark is the psychic and Jack is an archeologist. Whilst at a hotel for Jack to attend a conference, Mark comes across a relatively recent angry ghost.
So we get The Carpenters Tale, a bit of history and a future peak at Mark and Jack and some hot scenes - win, win, win!
This book is subtitled number 1 of The Renfrew Files and this snippet and Chris Quinton's writing style is enough to have me on the look out for more. This was a freebie when I got it.
