given the fact that I literally started this MONTHS ago, I'm shocked it's still a five star-er for me. eeeee the writing style is strong and unique, it's thematically very interesting. absolutely absolutely loved this.

This book is different than anything I remember reading in the past. I love the character of Elizabeth Zott so much - she’s so intelligent, independent, strong, and she knows exactly who she is and what she wants. I can’t imagine how difficult things were for women in that era. Even though there’s definitely so much room for improvement, things have gotten a lot better for us because of all the fighting those before us did.
