The 6th book of the series and just as amazing as the first. The mystery of Emma's past continues to unfold as well as new mysteries arising. I didn't want to put the book down.

Interesting

It was very slow to the build up, I wish it picked up a bit more. Again the back and forth between past and present can be confusing and leave me lost at times. But other than that, the book was pretty good.

I have enjoyed everyone of Rivers books so far. This 6th book caused me to have more questions. Who is 'Catch Me'? Where exactly has Greg been and who beat him up? Who is actually after Emma?  I need to get the 7th book to find out these answers. If you like mysteries, I think you would like this series.

Book Review: The Girl and the Hunt by A.J. Rivers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am really enjoying this series! This one gave us more information into Emma’s dads disappearance and her mother’s death. Catch Me is continuing to taunt Emma and she is trying to figure out the clues to find him. The only thing I didn’t like about the book is the cliff hanger ending. Thank goodness I have access to the whole series, so I was able to start soon!

We were on a good trajectory but we fell flat on book 6 of Emma Griffin FBI. Emma and Sam rush back to Feathered Nest to try and save one of the residents from Catch Me's deadly clutches. They arrive too late, but Emma vows to make this stop. Catch me has left more clues to Emma's past but I felt as though it was a slow trudge to get to our conclusion. As always, I enjoyed the flashbacks and occasional delve into others' POVs. Like some other reviewers though, I am starting to feel that with as many books that are being generated and with how quickly they are coming out, there is something being lost. I feel as though some of these could have been combined for a longer book but more cohesive and interesting story arc. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for her past to be resolved. I just hope it was worth the wait.

While there are some editorial errors in this series of books (proofreaders were badly needed) The series has kept me enthralled and I am constantly waiting for the terrible thing to happen or the secrets that link everything together to be exposed.
