Alright, that's it, I surrender, I've had enough.

Now they're security guard-type people? Fighting THE DEMON INTERNET?!?! All of the dialogue is painfully contrived and I am so sick of watching characters I once loved unspool into their lowest common denominator. I just... I can't anymore, my heart can't take it. I'm done.

The story continues to evolve and to stay great! Kennedy shows up, and while I'm not a fan of hers it winds up working out.

It seems many fans found this volume to be boring and perhaps somewhat repetitive of Buffy's journey. While I can see where they're coming from, I still found this volume exciting and held my Buffy loving interest until the end. I'm also glad the Billy storyline from the second half seems to have continued into the next volume. It was different and something that could have easily been a little storyline during Potential days on the show. All in all, I liked this volume and am happy Buffy continues to live on in comic form.

This one felt like a transition. Still a good enough read, but a little less interesting that the ones before.

I wish I would have documented it, but when like “the magic” was taken from the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer I was like “all these girls can get high-paying jobs as body guards now” and behold, that is what Kennedy thought too!

So, with no heed to the other slayers thoughts, Kennedy hires Buffy. Buffy struggles with not taking the lead and taking orders instead. This whole thing is a big eye-opener for Buffy and I just want her to catch a break. She is still going when most people would have given up, and I love her for that. *acts like Buffy is a real life person and looks up to her as a role model*

And there's some demon that's so large that we never see the full of it and just its tentacles. Can we all say ew?

Anyway, the last few issues kind of spins off to some dudes and I wasn’t really into it but Buffy came back in the end and it might play a part in the rest of the series? Who knows with graphic novels.

This feels like Buffy should, but as a volume this was quite uneventful. Yes, she faced almost certain death and potentially has someone coming after her in the future...but nothing too exciting. Or maybe it's a good thing that nothing really epic happened? I guess what I'm saying is that my review of this is a head nod and a slight shrug.

I liked how the 2nd half was about a teenaged gay couple deciding to become a watcher and slayer. Woot diversity!

Buffy finally makes a career change to private bodyguard. But deep down, she is still the Slayer, a line in the darkness. Which will she choose? Money or mission?

New job, new life? Not for Buffy, I like that she is true to herself. Also the new recruit is a nice story, hopefully we see more of him.
