Jacob Morgan is one of my favorite narrators. I loved this.

Holy sweetness, this book was adorable. A little bit of tension, lost soul situation mixed with finding yourself and realizing what it takes to be truly happy.

"Life doesn't remain the same. It shifts & turns, & we must shift with it."

⭐️⭐️⭐️

This one might be short and sweet because I’m not quite sure what to say. There were some really good parts of this story and some parts that just didn’t do it for me.

To be frank, I just don’t think I’m a fan of the insta-love trope. I need that build up, the tension, the anxiety, the uncertainty. While both Emma and Luc weren’t sure of the others feelings at first it was plainly obvious they were “in love” within the first 20%.

I guess I just wasn’t able to connect to either MC in this one, but I know others have loved this one - so don’t count it out just because of my review!

❤️ insta-love

Two people who had huge monkey wrenches thrown into their lives smack into one another with a matchmaking grandmother.
Lucian’s life revolved around hockey. The last night he played he knew that his head was not okay. He went home to his grandma and had been cooking for her & repairing her lovely old home, Rosemont.
Emma has been the reigning fantasy princess on TVs hottest show, until the latest table read shows her losing her head, literally. Her grandmother sends her to Rosemont to reset and figure out what to do next.
These two are so delicious. Among the beautiful scenery and all the yummy food, you get this slow burn, Grumpy/sunshine dynamic that is so swoony.
I loved the nicknames and the banter.
I loved all the side characters and I really need to see Anton get Gibbs slapped by love. And Sal. He’s just so lovely.
