I listened to this book rather than reading it, and I can say the male voice in this audiobook is just dreamy.

This book was light hearted and easy to follow. A classic love story. **Spoiler** Two troubled ,beautiful people, fall in love, they fight it, then finally give in, one decides to chase a dream that separates them, and then ends exactly how you want it to end, in love and together.

I really enjoyed the character dynamics and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an easy romance read/listen.

I was really enjoying the beginning of this story. The idea of two lost people finding each other when they're at similar chapters of their lives and helping each other heal was the clear premise, and I was on board! However these two main characters experience immediate insta-lust and it ruined the reading experience for me. The book was just filled with one two many sexual euphemisms and the way these characters were ready to bone so early on just felt non-gratifying for me. I stopped caring about the progression of their relationship because I felt like it had less to do with a meaningful connection and more to do with them getting to f*ck, which was not the book I thought this was going to be.

3.5 ⭐️ This book was cute! Our MCs battle some harsh reality’s of dreams coming to an end, cheating, and life changing paths. I found that i was predicting what was going to happen easily. Some parts of this book were also pretty cringy, but I would say about 1/2 way through it picked up for me! It was a nice pallet cleanser between some darker romances!
