Loving the lovers to friends, then enemies to lovers but with so much broody banter. These books develop with the character!

Ach Hudson … ich liebe Grace und Hudsons Dynamik, wie sie sich immer unterstützen und gegenseitig zu Bestleistungen anspornen.

Love this series!!! think this book had potential to be a higher rating but I however was struggling with reading this month. Think if i read this again at a better time I would give it a higher rating.

The first 50% of the book were a lot to take in and I was a little bit bored and had to push through but the rest, wow. The multiple plot twists and the suspense and everything it was mind blowing.
I almost cried and I laughed and I was touched anyway I really liked it.

Good lord I'm tired of the mate bond stuff. Graces whole "it's just the mate bond" is so obnoxious. Then the Jaxon mate bond drama. Can we just stop with the fucking mate bonds please 😭 war is more important

So far my least favorite in the series. I felt the whole Circle position we fought for as such a big part of the last book was thrown to the side and meant very little to the story which was odd. I love the concept and many of the characters but listening to Grace’s monologue was getting on my nerves by half way through.
Also why did she say Macy doesn’t ’accept her as she is’ when she’s fighting the giants? Cause she REFUSES to tell Macy her favorite color isn’t hot pink? That’s on you girl. Also, it felt cheap that at the end Luca just gets killed so suddenly and then jaxon dies only for Nuri to bring just him back? Makes Luca’s death feel pointless other than to make us sad? Will it have relevance later? A supporting love interest character literally already died at the same location in the last book so doing it again feels repetitive.

I can’t deal with this series oh my GOD just rip out my entire heart and soul!!
