Before receiving this book I had never heard of Tom Purdom but I 19m very glad that I have now. All of his stories, no matter how out there and fantastic they are have a solid, grounded feeling to them, you are reading about real people with real motivations and even when the characters or situations are completely alien they are relatable.
I was very impressed with how well his stories have aged both in writing style and topicality. Many of them were written in the 90 19s but they still read as relevant to today and deal with many of the issues that are now starting to come into play in our current world.
Overall I found all of the stories both entertaining and challenging, not in a threatening way but in a way that made me consider things from a different angle and in some stories more than one angle. I would very much like to read more from this author and would love to read a full novel.
