there was something missing, but at the same time i was so invested in the story that i read it in one day. maybe some missed potential (i was a bit wierded out by the premise), but the potential used was good enough for me.

This had everything I look for in a romance—depth, vulnerability, banter, and so much heart. I really connected with Helen and the way grief was explored felt raw and real. The writing was beautiful, the characters broke my heart in the best way, and I was rooting for them every step. Nothing wrapped up too perfectly, which made it all feel more honest. Just a full, emotional, satisfying read.

There were a lot of scenes I didn’t expect lol and had to fast forward through haha but I found the male main character so lovable overall I’d say the book was just alright
