I'm picky about prose when I read, and the prose in this book didn't grip me or feel very indulgent. I still think it was well written though, and I was completely swept away in the story!

A quick read that I ate through in 2 days. I felt well immersed in the setting and characters, and I cried through part of the book. Every part of the story was very well thought out, and I would probably even read it again some time.

If you're looking for a 'young lesbian in a conservative town' story, I couldn't recommend this book more highly :)

Especially if you want a happy ending or want to feel seen.

This book is so good!!! It really captures the experience of living as a queer person in a conservative and religious town and all the struggles that come with it. But it’s also just insanely cute. <3
