Hearing about the ways that magik traits are passed down and sometimes skip generations is fascinating! I really enjoyed this story about the ever growing mystic bayou! It was exciting and thrilling! I’m excited (and also a little sad) to finish the series!

Molly Harper did not disappoint - of course not!

I'm loving every new character we encounter in every new Mystic Bayou installment. But can any of these characters be someone of color? Geez!

Sometimes you just have to catch up on a series and binge listen while baking christmas cookies, wrapping gifts, and playing Santa! I have been a fan of Molly Harper for years and her Mystic Bayou is my absolute fav of all her series! I mean what’s not to love about a romance with mystery elements featuring shapeshifters and magic users in a small town in the middle of nowhere in the Bayou! As over the top as it sounds, this series is so fun with a rich cast of characters (the mayor is my favorite) and dialogue that will have you laughing out loud. Awkwardly. Sometimes in public! Basically your family will look at you strangely but they love you anyway so just ignore them.

The latest in the series did not disappoint. The guys are back with their ridiculous selves. Zed continues to adopt sisters into his family while Bael makes fun of him. Sonya power organizes, Jillian over analyzes, and everyone else just tries to keep up! This amazing series is narrated by Amanda Ronconi and Johathan Davis and is a must have in your ears! Lia and Jon are a sweet couple who are meant to be, but will they find love or will they be kept apart by an unknown element lurking in the bayou?? You will laugh and swoon in this must read addition to the series!

This is the end of a light, enjoyable series. Part romance, part cozy mystery, each book built on the last to form a satisfying whole. And the two narrators are fab!
