Love a slow burn, and kingfisher always provides just that. A few returning characters that I enjoyed from the first book, and some fun new faces too. Top that up with a lovely and well written main character and I’m sold through and through. Hoping to see Easton continue on their Spoopy escapades.

I loved this installment in the Sworn Soldier series almost as much as the first. Slow burn horror, creepy to frightening, and a hell of an ending.
