I enjoyed this book. It was a bit slow in the middle. I but the beginning and end were good and I thought it was a really nice retelling of the fairy tale.
Maybe 2.5 ⭐️ I liked Gilded better than this one, but overall both books in this duology are just “meh.”
Not as good as the first book but still a good time. Liked the continuation but it felt a bit strung out, the ending wasn’t for me. I really expected a heartbreaking tragic ending but was kinda disappointed.

4.5 stars - I think I liked the first book in this series a little better, but overall still very much enjoyed pt 2 of this reimagined fairy tale
Dark. Very dark. But it was entertaining. Good twist with the god of stories. Good rumplestiltskin tie-in.

This book survived two of my reading slumps... I am confused coming back to this since I forgot most of the plot but I love Marissa Meyer's writing and characters so it was still enjoyable
