The second half of the duology that started with Gilded, this one was even better! I loved all of it from the amazing world building to the adorable characters and the action packed scenes. The voice actor was exceptional as well! This started as a rumplestiltskin retelling but turned into so much more! I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this book, although the ending felt a bit rushed to me. I wish we saw more about Perchta because there was so much buildup to her but then she was not in the story for very long. I also wish we got to see more of what happened after the ending. It was still a very enjoyable read though, but I did like Gilded more.

honestly… i had very mixed feelings…. i feel like the first 100 pages were great and the last 150/200 pages were good too but everything in between was… meh? i think the pacing was a little weird and also i didn’t love the end. it was okay but not at all a favorite/ something that i would recommend to everyone.
