Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an early copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
I am a simple girl, you put a one direction song title and a man that is basically Steve Harrington on the cover of a book and I will be reading that. Add in the fact that I have read and loved a book from this author before, AND both main characters are bisexual, and you have yourself a recipe for success. And boy was it. Successful, that is.
This book had so much potential, and I went in with pretty high expectations, and I am so glad all of them were met. I will definitely be buying myself a copy for my trophy shelf (aka book shelf) when it releases because I have so many quotes I highlighted that I just NEED to annotate in a physical copy.
This book had me literally kicking my feet and giggling at some parts, and it doesn't help that I was definitely picturing Steve Harrington/Joe Keery as Colin. I can't help what my brain does.
Speaking of Colin, he was ultimate book boyfriend. Definition of golden retriever energy and I loved every minute of it. He was so sweet and caring, and was not afraid to be open and honest and vulnerable with Truly. Some of his lines were super corny but I didn't even care, he had me SWOONING.
And the spice? 5/5 stars for the spice. There was a hint of kink that added a nice level of spice, but not too much where it would take away for other readers. It wasn't too much, perfect for people who are unsure about kink/bdsm in books.
I knocked one star off the rating because Truly could be pretty whiny at times, but it wasn't too much to really hinder my enjoyment. I also wanted some more development and details about her best friend. I loved the interactions we got with her and I just felt like I wanted more throughout.

Alexandria Bellefleur’s queer romances are always a pleasure to read. Truly, Madly, Deeply (not to be confused with the fabulous Alan Rickman movie) is a very sweet enemies-to-lovers romance between queer historical romance author Truly and family (divorce) lawyer Colin, whose meet-cute takes place when they spar about relationship advice on his sister’s top-rated podcast. The chemistry between them, masked by flirty bickering and sexual innuendo, is really hot and the sex is steamy and raw. However, it’s Colin’s kindness, devotion, and protectiveness towards Truly and the way she both challenges and defends him that make this such a special love story.
This is a slow burn, somewhat enemies-to-lovers romance featuring two bisexual characters (although there is a discussion between them where Truly questions whether she can legitimately call herself that if she’s never acted on it with any woman). Honestly, the only things that keep it from a 5* rating are the overabundant scenes where Truly and her musical theater-loving parents talk about serious stuff using song titles and lyrics. It was cute at first, but then became absurd. I also started getting annoyed by how many times (six) Bellefleur mentions Colin’s moles. Otherwise, I definitely recommend reading it.
I received a complimentary ARC of this book from Avon Books through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

This enemies to lovers romance was cute. I would've liked to go more on depth on some things I felt were just brushed over, and the game they play with song lyrics and titles was annoying AF (especially when they were doing it while having super serious conversations), but otherwise it was a fun read.

I rounded up with this one. I think it's around 3.5 stars.
I can't really call it enemies to lovers because they basically got in one argument and then fell in love so not really enemies to start with. It did make me laugh once I think. It was a sweet straight forward romance without much to surprise the reader but still enjoyable all the same. It didn't hook me, I read it over a few days- which for me is a long time. I did finish it though and the epilogue was nice :)

Very funny, the spice was definitely spicy, it just wasn’t that serious to me, while it felt serious to the characters. Overall, a good read.
This one fell a little short for me in Bellefleur’s line up of romance novels. I love the characters of Colin and Truly separately but they moved hella fast that I kind of got bored. I think I wanted more of Truly healing from her last relationship but she caved so early with Colin. It’s not necessarily a bad thing but I think it would have helped me be convinced on why Colin was so Down Bad™️ from the beginning and why he fell for her. Or maybe more of Truly helping Colin with his family (even though that whole situation is fucked) I wanted more than Truly being stressed about her parents’ relationship and Colin just sitting there on the sidelines
TLDR: the love and relationship moved too fast to be believable for me
