It was a good follow up-though I kept waiting for Elliott to explain where Kit REALLY was... perhaps in a future novel?

I had major problems the more I read the series. I want to talk about the series as a whole (I only got through the first three):

1. The heroine and hero of book 1 to 3 are LITERALLY THE SAME PEOPLE.
Completely interchangeable! Not even kidding.

2. (Slight spoilers)***

---------------------------

Each heroine in book one through three :

a. Loves horses
b. Is rich
c. Has a son at the end
d. This one is my major pet peeve- Completely gives up who they are so.
that they can swoon and be the damsel in distress once the love.
interests. They completely forget who they are and what they stand
for. No thank you.

3. The heroine and hero have tragic backstory.

4. 50% of the time the hero is a butt.

These books had a great storyline but the author just did not deliver.
