God bear with me! Feeling slightly emosh from this book! It was so heartfelt, heartbreaking and had all the warm fuzzy hearts too! Jemma and Sam! Sam and Jemma! What a journey they take!
I thought I was all cried out Sunday but this book just had more tears I didn’t know existed, seriously I can’t have any more!
This has the feel-good factor of second chances at life and love, trusting again after hurt and lots of bears!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when reading this but it wasn’t what I got! Two people where life has literally thrown a lot of rubbish their way, but two people wanting to carry on and find the strength to carry on. I will say I was expected a lot of bears in the book! But the phrase bear with me was used a lot, and it was used while we beared with the characters to find their way again.

One character I could not stand was Kirsty, throwing herself around at any man that moved, she had no self-respect or generally any respect and I am glad she didn’t feature much.

The book is told from Jemma and Sams point of view, introducing us to their life and insights. Not actually meeting each other until halfway through. At the start, you just can’t see how they are going to meet, but thinking back hints were there. These two characters could not be any more likeable if they tried, they had flaws but they are the types of people I would love to be friends with.

I was captivated by this book and read it in one sitting there were a few twists In this story before you get to the end and they were shocking for both characters. The fact they were both going through their own individual heartache and could be there was for each other was magical.
I did not want to put the book down until the story had been told. Now I have a soggy pillow from the tears but it was worth it.

This is my first Jessica Redland's book and it was quite a engaging and wonderful book, full with complex and real characters and following the life of two people in a storyline that made me wish I could be a part of the world.

Written in the POV of Jemma and Sam, I got to experience an emotional ride as I got to learn more about each character, their heartaches, their dreams, fears and day-to-day lives, as they fight for move on, and end up meeting and connecting. As the friendship between them begun and since I could read about their opinions and thoughts, it was lovely to see the relationship develop.

Jemma was an amazing character, a kind person that deserved all the best in the world. And Sam too. They book deserved to have happy lives doing what they want. The interactions between them were fun and I loved reading about it once they met.

This novel is much more than Bears, love and the seaside. It's about everything that life brings. The heartaches, the sadness, the love, the dreams, the happiness and the emotional journey that is finding our footing after something unexpected happens. And that was something I loved about the book.

I recommend this book. It felt real. I felt like I was a part of that community and knew the characters. I felt a connection to Jemma and Sam. I felt a connection to the story and I hope I can find something unexpected in my life. Meanwhile, I will just live, day after day and keep enjoy books like this one that makes me think about life.

[I want to thank Rachel, at Rachel’s Random Resources, and Jessica for the eCopy of this book and for allowing me to join in the fun and by being a part of the blog tour with my honest review of the book.]

I really loved this book! The blurb had me captivated straight away and it really was a beautifully written. I will admit that it took me a little while to get into the story and the way it was written but once I got into it I thought that it was perfectly written. I did honestly think that this was going to be about Teddy Bears but it really was so much more, there was so much covered in the story and I thought the author did a great job. I loved Jemma, I thought she was a really nice person and she deserved to find herself somebody who would treat her right. The interactions between Jemma and Sam were so lovely, they both had so much going on their lives, lots of emotional times but they seemed to have this connection. There were some great moments between them.
I haven’t read anything by this author before but I absolutely would love to read more from her in the future. Her writing was great, the storyline strong and I loved her descriptive language.
I would definitely recommend this book to other readers!

I struggled to pick up this book and felt that it was very slow paced and that meant i struggled to read it.
