Please read trigger warnings before reading this book!

This book was even better than the first one! It did have it's slow parts but they were usually filled with information that later came around and added to a twist or punch. This book was also spicier than the first which I will not complain about! The ending makes you want to dive into book three so that's exactly what I plan to do!

Still enjoyable, but I didn’t feel it was quite a strong as the first in the series. Powers still being discovered/ramped up, still dealing with prejudice etc. I liked the changes to Hawke more
