I always enjoy the In Death books. This one didn’t disappoint.

Liked it, didn't love it. Pretty standard In Death book -- fun characters, some humor, etc. -- but it didn't really bring anything new and important to the series.

The topic of this one was just a mostly boring miss for me.

I love these books but this one particularly.
Loved the added view from roarke. Loved the added view of Roarke and Summerset - always wondered when and how they communicated and kept up.
Loved the internal dialog of Eve headed to a cocktail party, particularly because it was her party and not Roarke's. And love the odd group they have now connected and become friends with.

A real page turner

As with all of JD Robb's book this one was hard to put down! It's a gripping story, a must read.

Before I listened to _The Chronicles of One_ sci-fi series, I would never have listened to a book that is actually written by Nora Roberts. Totally outside my wheelhouse in general.

But I have listened to that, so learning that she is actually JD Robb did not scare me. And I am glad it didn't. Loved this book. I will definitely be listening to more of this.

The characters are great. Stupid, but great. Who cares?!!!!! It's fun, and that's why I read/listen.
