Cette pièce a été pour moi une excellente façon de me lancer dans la mythologie grecque!

Amazingly, I really enjoyed reading Oedipus. I loved the drama, much more interesting than any soap opera these days. Although I didn't feel empathy for Oedipus, even at the end, I found him rather annoying and arrogant. If he hadn't tried to run from fate, he would've been a lot better off. Not that I'd want to stay still if I found out that the oracles predicted that I marry my mother and murder my father.

So, so interesting!

Somehow it was worse than Antigone. It was very drawn out and all that really happened was that he found out who he was.

WEIRD, MAN.

Read this again for my drama class and appreciated it more this time around

It's well written but the story itself is too repulsive to like. There's some commentary on being unable to escape destiny, but at the end of the day, this isn't a good read. I don't hate it, but it's way too hard to like.
