Really enjoyed this follow up memoir. She’s a little older, I’m a little older, and she had some helpful things to say about things we have in common (and things we don’t). Her honesty and vulnerability is fanfuckingtastic. She’s true blue.

I will forever be a fan of Gabrielle Union. And there's no one better to narrate her stories than herself. This book made a connection from fan to celebrity, educated me on some ways racism is still present in some places white people might not imagine it to be, allowed me a glimpse into what struggling with fertility is like for the stars, and entertained me thoroughly with her wit. I highly recommend this. Do read her first book before this...it's not critical, but she makes references to things you'll be a little confused on if you don't.

I enjoyed her first book and I also enjoyed this one. She does such a good job telling her story it feels like a conversation. There is a range of topics discussed from racism to the bubble guts hitting her in a very awkward place.
