Multi POV was a difficult adjustment.  

Did not really care about the characters. Which was disappointing because I was ready to love them and then be absolutely broken by what befell them. Instead, the only character I did love, was the one we are meant to hate: Appolonius.

Cassius is not dead.  I know Brown's writing too well at this point to believe he's not got some trickery afoot.

I saw the situation with the Ash Lord coming from miles away and it felt anticlimactic.

Okay soo, the pacing in this is definitely different to the first 3 books in the series. The different POVs threw me off for probably the first 30% of the book it took a while to get used to it but once I came around to it I loved it. 
I could not put it down for the last 20-30% of the book. 
Cassius my sweet boy 😭
Emotionally not as ruining as books 1-3 but I can definitely see it setting some stuff up for the last 2 books…
