This book was a more difficult read than I expected because it begins at the end, and because of the pidgin dialect, but it became absorbing and then I just couldn't put it down. Read if you're interested in getting some insight into Hawaiian native culture, and how it profoundly affects people in this modern era. This is a work of fiction that feels very real.
