This was one of the best books I’ve read in so long, yes it’s for younger kids but it wraps you in so quickly. The way some of the characters die is just heartbreaking, but the ending is just so worth it.

This was a very touching book. It was really quick-paced and easy to read really quickly because of the formatting, but it was really enjoyable and really well done. The idea of zoos being perfect sanctuaries doesn't seem perfect, but given the situation that the characters were in it was definitely a much better place. I would definitley recommend it to anyone looking for a quick but enjoyable read.

It was cute. Some sad things in it but mostly a really easy and fast read.

An enjoyable and nostalgic revisit. After reading, I remember why I loved this story so much, especially given the fact that it’s based on true events.
