Hmm. This book has ALL the potential: why choose, fae wolf shifters, a curse to be broken. And yet, the whole book centers around the fmc who was kidnapped at 12 and lived in a cage for 9 years - therefore stunting her mental growth - and her crushes on her captors. Does any of this stop the aforementioned fae shifters from lusting after her? Absolutely not. Apparently their pink haired roommate having the mind of a traumatized preteen really gets them all going. The book was a quick read, more of an intro than anything, so I’m hopeful that MASSIVE character growth is on the way, but for now even though Talia is of age and nothing more than a kiss or two occurred, I kinda just felt icky. Give the girl some therapy, not sex ed.

This book and this whole series is one of my absolute favourites! I reccomend it to everybody.  Although I adore the romance in this series, I like how this book really takes the time to set up the world, characters, and plot, and doesn't focus as much on the romance.

This was enjoyable. It wasn’t that well written and there was absolutely no world building m, but I still enjoyed it and found myself wanting to keep reading. This is also barely spicy which is a bummer but I’m hoping the second one is. I liked Talia as a main character but sometimes she was so dumb. As for the men August has my whole heart and Whitt is getting there( he’s my second favorite. Sylas was just boring to me, i don’t know what it is about RH but I always like the leader the least. I hope there is more character development and interaction in the second one.

While I'm curious I'm not actually curious enough to finish it. And the old timey thing just doesn't do it for me. Maybe I'll come back to it. Doubt it though.

omg!!!! so……it’s a really good series, the characters are great and i love seeing the main character grow more comfortable around the live interests and watch her grow and overcome what happened in her past! however. one thing has been bothering me for some time now (i’m halfway through the second book), which is the dynamic of this reverse harem, in every other rh i’ve read, everyone involved was comfortable and okay with the idea of having the same partner, but here Sylas just seems to be a little upset with the idea of “sharing” her and even mentions later on that he seems to only be okay with her involvement with someone else because he’d rather have that than not have her at all and it just made me kind of uncomfortable seeing him give in and take part in the reverse harem solely for her even though the idea doesn’t seem to please him all that much :( this is obviously just my opinion and how i read the situation, doesn’t mean the story is not good! i just like it more when everyone is into it from the start and not when the situation seems to make someone a little uncomfortable..
