I really related to the Diary of Wimpy Kid, a sort of spaghetti looking kid (my arms especially, the rest of my body not so much), with a kind of rude older sibling, and a kind of tough life at school. Obviously, the timing was right for me, as I grew up I just happened to be living through similar experiences that the main character was. These books are for anyone who just wants to have an easy read and perhaps a slight laugh.

Fun book for middle school boys, though Micaela thought it was very funny, too.

I loved these books when I was younger, and now that I'm graduating soon, I'm rereading them!

These books are entertaining enough, but my god the main character is such a brat. There are some things we can be forgiven for because, of course, he's a kid. But as the series progresses you'd think he would start maturing a little, but no he's just needlessly bratty, and sometimes a bully (his brother Rodrick isn't any better), for absolutely no reason. Had I read these when I was the target age group, I'm sure I wouldn't have noticed, but reading them as an adult really sheds a different perspective on it.

So. Much. Fun.
It is nice to finally read a diary-type novel where the MC is a teenage boy. The character is great and funny, and the drawings are just hilarious. I love this series! ^_^
