I listened to this on audiobook and Jenifer narrating was so enthralling. I was absolutely hooked from chapter 1. I had no clue what a crazy, and illustrious career she’s led. It’s also kind of wild she isn’t even more famous or in more things coming up. She is an absolute gem and I loved this book from start to finish. Highly recommend on audiobook cuz her narration is HILARIOUS.

Movies, musicals, and mental health, oh my! The second half was more enjoyable for me, but I understand the first half was needed for the second to make sense.

I've always loved Jenifer Lewis, but after reading her story, I think I love her even more. She fought hard to get to where she is today, and has gained much respect from me for never giving up.
She even discusses mental health issues, and the changes she has made to better herself. I'm not huge on autobiographies, but I must say I will most definitely be reading this book again.

Also, it made me watch to watch "The Preacher's Wife" over again after at least 5 years.
