The series were better and I didn't like the book.

The marital rape disgusted me, and the both acted like it never happenend. Like oops.. and then they shoved it under a rug. 

Simon's thoughts kind off disgusted me aswel? Like he. believed that Daphne belonged to him and that she should obey to everything he asks. Barf

Also Simon acted like he did her a huge favor by impregnating her. And to be fair Daphne did want children but don't you think he should be thanking her for being gifted fatherhood?

Anyway, I don't think I will finish the series ( Could totally be lying here, because they were addictive, but we shall see )

I enjoyed Daphnes wit and the build up to the relationship. There were things though that really were not it and I felt myself not enjoying the book as much during the later half. The show does a good job of being pretty accurate to the storyline and but then those plot points I didn’t enjoy were shown. I think I’ll continue the series since I’ve heard it gets better
