I recently found myself loving Simone St James' books! Fun mix of mystery and a little supsense/thriller, but nothing too scary. This one is set post world war two in England featuring a widow whose husband went missing in the war. Now widowed but without a pension since he wasn't officially declared dead, she is forced to take a job as a companion for her husband's aunt traveling around Europe and eventually returning home to her manor in the countryside outside London. There, she starts to see the ghost of the woman's dead daughter and starts to doubt her own sanity.
