The second book was fine. This one felt a little more rushed and lot less believable compared to the first one. Mendy felt more naïve and annoying than she did in the first book. I feel like it tried hard to be funny, but just never made it there.

Maybe I’m just having PTSD from my wedding 2 months ago but there is genuinely no way all of this could have happened on her wedding day. There just isn’t enough time. You also could not convince me Meddy was a wedding vendor. Also a wedding photographer only hiring one photographer and not having a second shooter? Not realistic imo. I feel like if I hadn’t just gotten married, maybe I wouldn’t have noticed but it made it so much harder to believe any of this.
