adventurous funny fast-paced

Definitely read this before the first book but it was still a hoot

Not as good as the first, but still funny and entertaining. Love how each aunt has such a distinct personality. I hope the author stops this series while they're ahead, or creates a new story with the aunties that is not based around murder.

I really loved Dial A For Aunties, but this one fell kind of flat for me. It was still a fun and entertaining read, though. Risa Mei narrated both and I think she was fabulous! I hope she does more audiobooks in her future! (I alternated between listening and reading)

I want to like this, but the absurdity of the plot is too much for me. I love the characters enough that in the first book of the series I could get past the plot with hope that the second book's plot wouldn't be as outlandish. Unfortunately, it was more absurd than the first. The book recognizes the ridiculousness, but it's not enough to redeem it.

i agree with other reviews that the aunties’ antics have lost some novelty and border on farcical. nonetheless, it’s an easy and fun read, and i loved the relationship between the main characters. can’t wait for the next one!

2.5/3 stars. I’m struggling with this book.

I want to love it. Like… I really want to. There are some LOL moments and some heartwarming ones… however on the whole it just didn’t hold up even a little to Dial A for Aunties. The biggest thing—I’m so disappointed in Meddy’s character. She lies for like… the entire book and that is disheartening. And I get it, it’s supposed to be outlandish and ridiculous, but, I don’t know… it just seemed to give me anxiety the entire time. I just kept yelling at Meddy to get it together. And for a book that seemed to have a lot to say… did it even?

Also, Nathan’s Mom sucks. So glad Nathan is a gem though! :)

I still find the series heartwarming and a fun read… and I obviously will read the last in the set… but, fingers crossed it’s a bit more developed (and hopefully Meddy’s character will be too!)
