This is one a lotnof people skip, but I absolutely love it. It's so nasty and dark and the inspector is very human. Miss Marple is in the midst of it, after a good long while, and all of it very much appropriate for rainy, dark days.

One of Christie's best in my opinion. I just love a family with messy dynamics, an old country pile, and victim no one ever liked and everyone had a reason for killing.

This one is a quick read, with a twist that - to be frank - stretches the imagination a bit, but still feels satisfying.
